Good Old Fashioned Pancakes Homemade Pancakes. Serves: Serves 8 Prep Time: Prep time 5 minutes/Cook Time 15 minutes Total Time: 20 minutes Here is an easy to follow recipe for homemade pancakes. Ingredients 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon white sugar 1 1/4 cups milk 1 egg 3 tablespoons butter melted Instructions 1. Crispy Potato Pancakes Recipe For Potato Pancakes

Serves: Makes 12 pancakes Prep Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 40 minutes Here's an easy to follow recipe for everyone's favorite comfort food, Potato Pancakes.

Ingredients

2 pounds potatoes peeled and coarsely shredded 2 onions minced 3 eggs beaten 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 pinch ground nutmeg or to taste salt and ground black pepper to taste 1/4 cup vegetable oil Instructions 1.Mix potatoes, onions, eggs, flour, baking powder, and lemon juice in a large bowl; season with nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Shape potato mixture into 12 evenly sized patties. 2.Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry potato patties in batches until tender and browned on both sides, 7 to 10 minutes. Transfer browned patties to a paper towel-lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining patties.
