So now all we have to do is collect our wet garbage put it in a garbage can marked "yard waste" and carry it to the street. I was very excited to learn the city of Abbotsford was doing this. I just moved from a place that didn't have garbage pick up and got very used to composting and recycling. With all the piles of garbage getting bigger and bigger in our landfills I hate the thought of sending any more garbage to the dump. My philosophy if it's not recyclable and it should be it gets put in the blue bag and sent out with the recycling.
